Three Books, One Blueprint

For years, people have asked me to write the book. Not one book. Several.

The neuroscience one: NeuroBusiness addresses a gap I have watched widen for thirty years. Organisations that invest heavily in strategy and talent while remaining almost entirely ignorant of how the brain actually works. It is written by someone who has sat in the boardroom and in the laboratory.

The memoir: Boyo. I grew up in South Wales and crossed into a world that was not built for people like me. This is that story, told in vignettes, organised around the themes that shaped the journey rather than the timeline.

The creative project: The Neural Crown retells the Arthurian legends through a neuroscience lens. Merlin is not a magician. He is the most sophisticated neuroscientist in the story.

What changed was a conversation with Tommy Baker at The Book Development Service. Tommy works with executives and thought leaders to extract what they know and build the architecture of a book before a single chapter is written. I went in expecting to plan one book. I came out with three, each feeding the others, the architecture clear enough that I know exactly where each piece of writing belongs.

If you are sitting on a book you have not started, I would point you towards The Book Development Service. The Blueprint is a standalone product. It does not commit you to anything beyond clarity.

More updates as the manuscripts develop.
